How Do You Deal With ’CHANGE’?

Change happens whether you like it or not and usually you cannot control it. The great news is, it is how you deal with change that makes all the difference, not change itself.

When change occurs, there is a new reality which is neither good nor bad. Whether it is a political environment or a system adopted at your work place, change is simply a new condition. While you cannot control change, how you feel and respond to it, is entirely up to you. You can decide to see a;; the possible opportunities it opens, focus on the good that can come of it and leap forward.

Not accepting change is at the core spiritually destructive. It is also arrogant as it goes against what the CREATOR has brought. You may not like the change but you must accept it, for it is here and now.You can choose to be grateful and accept it with grace. If you resist change outwardly, you create tensions and conflicts. In an organization, it might even cause you your job.

More commonly, people will appear to follow the new procedures or methods, but they will do so 'grudgingly'. They complain amongst themselves, long for the old ways and tell themselves how much better it was. They may even knowingly or unknowingly 'sabotage' new systems in place.

When change is not fully embraced, underlying resentments bring about negative energy thus, holding everyone else back.

One famous quote by Guru Nanak: "Conquer your mind and you conquer the world."

So, try and train yourself to see opprtunities. Accept and flow with change.

Erm...I am not making any sense and I bore the hell out of you, right? Sorry, I'll stop now. Just my two cents for today.

Stay well and cool, guys.
